A woman has been bitten by a shark in Australia.
The incident took place on Friday at around 1:20 pm. The unidentified 45-year-old was was wading in the shallows off North Strabroke Island, when she was bitten on the foot by a small shark.
She was taken to Dunwich Health Service Centre with minor injuries.
Strabroke Island is also known as Minjerribath, and is a large sand island off the eastern side of Moreton Bay near Brisbane, Queensland.
This is the fourth bite of 2016, all of which have been in Australia.
