An 18-foot great white shark has been filmed around 500 yards off a Sydney beach in Australia.
The large shark was filmed off Long Reef near the Norther Beaches, by fisherman Cam Sutherland.
He told 9NEWS:“First I thought it was a whale … and then realised it was a white pointer,I was a bit scared at first, then I noticed it was not aggressive at all, it was pretty laidback.”
The 22-year-old stuck his Go-Pro into the water and shot some great footage.
After 15 minutes the shark vanished into the depths.
