A shark fisherman who caused chaos at Jacksonville Beach in Florida has been given a warning by police.
The man caught a six foot shark on Monday from the pier.
Spring breakers and other beach goers ran from the waters as the fisherman tried to pull the shark on shore.
He was caught by police who told him to let the shark go as it was illegal to shark fish from the pier.
He told News 4 JAX “I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time — to catch something of that size, and I feel that was kind of taken from me.”
If you notice in the video, the sign on the pier says that shark fishing is not prohibited.
The man was hoping to sell the shark meat.
