COCOA BEACH, Fla. -A man was bitten by a shark while swimming in shallow water near the beach.
Click Orlando is reporting that Brevard County Ocean Resuce said the shark bite happened just after 3:30Pm.
The victim was a 42 yo man who was visting from Germany and recieved a 4 inch puncture mark on his foot and was taken to Cap Canaveral Hospital.
Witness Oscar Mofjell said “He came out of the water just between me and my brother and he was very pale in his face and had that shock in his eyes,”.
Jeff Scabarozi, Brevard County Ocean Rescue speculated that the shark may have been three to four feet long.
Crews reopened the beach just after 5 p.m.
