29 year old Bianca Freeman fell into the Gold Coast canal in Australia where she said she was bitten by a bull shark. Nine Gold Coast News reports they had “images of the injury analysed by shark experts who confirmed the bite to be consistent to that from a 1.2m(4ft) bull shark, aged around four years.” They go on to report the last shark attack recorded was in 2003, when an 84-year-old male swimmer was bitten by a 8ft bull shark in Burleigh Lake.
